However, these fake pillow pets make a better flatter pillow since the real ones are so fluffy and thick, so sleeping on such a high pillow is very discomfortable for small children. These animal pillows fluff up nice when washed and you can put them into the dryer safely. It holds up well and is very durable even after many washing. The fabric that covers the Velcro is very good too. Your child will like to sit down on to it to read books or have a short nap.
